How FoLix Hair
Restoration Works
FoLix uses non-ablative fractional laser energy to create controlled microscopic treatment zones within the scalp, without removing the skin’s surface.
This stimulation encourages a natural healing response within the environment around existing hair follicles, supporting improvements in the appearance of scalp hair over time.
FoLix works with existing follicles, it cannot create new follicles where they are no longer present.
What to Expect
During treatment, the FoLix handpiece moves across the treatment area to deliver fractional laser energy to the scalp. You may feel warmth or a mild prickling sensation.
Appointments generally take around 30 minutes. No anesthesia or shaving is required, and there is no expected downtime. Temporary redness or warmth may occur afterward.
An initial series typically includes 4–6 treatments approximately four weeks apart. Maintenance treatments may be recommended 2–3 times per year, depending on your needs and response.
Results develop gradually as hair moves through its natural growth cycle. Baseline and progress photos help us track changes over time.
